MENS Group
Men Engaged in Needed Services (MENS) includes all the male adult members of the church and, as its name suggests, provides various services to the church and community. The group plans and conducts the annual Gourmet Hot Dog Luncheon Kick-off on the first Sunday following Labor Day as a welcome-back to the church's fall schedule and the group's sole fundraiser for supported activities and outreach. The MENS group sponsors the quarterly "Community Speaks" Forum featuring well-know local public figures as speakers.
Through its fundraising efforts and membership dues of $25 from each male church member, the MENS Group supports Habitat for Humanity, Willow Elementary School, UMCOM (United Methodist disaster relief) and other organizations. Contact: Ed Dickson
