Summer Programming July 2nd - September 3rd, 2017
Spiritual Formation for People of All Ages Church in the Circle seeks to support and nurture the lifelong spiritual growth of children, youth and adults through programming that informs, engages and inspires. We seek to involve people’s hearts, minds and imaginations with the transforming message of God’s story and what it means to live in the way of Jesus.
Children, (Pre-K – 5th grade) Children begin the morning in 10 a.m. summer worship with their families. Following the Children’s Welcome, children leave the worship service with their adult leaders and go to the Sunday School room. Breakfast (cereal, milk, juice, fruit and yogurt) is served and there are games, Legos, stories and crafts to engage our young friends. On some Sundays, we’ll take a walk around the Art Museum Lagoon. Food, friends and fun is what it’s all about! Visiting friends and grandchildren are always welcome.
Youth Group (6th-12th grade) Youth group is on “vacation” for the summer and will resume on Sunday mornings in September. University Circle United Methodist Church youth will participate in Youth Summer Mission Project and Gatherings this summer. Contact Youth Coordinator Dawn McElrath for more information.
Adults Adult classes are on “vacation” for the summer and will resume in September.
