About Dr. Yvonne Conner
Dr. V. Yvonne Conner is the founder of Enhancement Ministries, Inc. (EMI) and serves as a Board member. EMI does business as Education In Motion. The organization works to build legacies through education and supports that help families grow, learn, and earn.
Dr. Conner is a proven nonprofit leader and social awareness program developer. She worked at a Community Foundation where she learned fiscal management, data analysis, and major gifts development. During retirement as a United Methodist pastor, she is the East Ohio Conference Relations Registrar for the Board of Ordained Ministry, an adjunct seminary professor, a member of the Greater Cleveland Congregations strategy team, and the Cleveland Community Police Commission.
In addition to working for the North Coast District of the United Methodist Church, Yvonne has worked as a substitute principal and classroom teacher with the Kalamazoo Public School District; an Executive Director for a training institute providing nonprofit organizational development and 501 c3 filings for grassroots organizations in Southwest Michigan.
